What are Halo Heroes?
So, what makes Halo Heroes so special? First of all, they are darn cute and we love them!
Every HaloFi user has their own unique Halo Hero, — you can find yours in your dashboard, and the players tab once you join a challenge. Let’s take a dive in to the world of Halo Heroes ✨

How cool are those Halos?
Wow, those Halos are seriously cool! What’s more, the colors show off your saving skills. As you earn more GG points, your halo will change color to reflect your progress. It starts off as a pale yellow and works its way up through blue, green, and purple hues, until you finally reach the ultimate level with an orange-accented black Halo 👑.
The Lowdown on HaloFi’s GG Scores
GG Scores are our point system. The more you save with HaloFi, the greater your GG Score. We launched this as GoodGhosting back in Sept 2021, and since then our community has been clocking up those points. As our saving challenges have evolved, so has our system — GG Score v2 ships in April 202 👀 . Dive into this blog for a full breakdown of how the GG score is changing to be more fair and transparent.
Each time you complete a challenge, your GG score will increase. This could mean a brand new halo color as well! 🌈
What are the levels?
Good question! In the world of HaloFi, Halo Heroes start without a Halo, but can earn one as they accumulate GG points. If you have less than 500 GG points, you won’t see a Halo at all.
As you start racking up those points you will see your Halo Heroes’s halo progress through the levels below. The higher your GG score, the more impressive your Halo will become. Check out the table below to see which Halo color corresponds to each GG score level:

How did these Halo Heroes get their powers?
Story time, back in the depths of DeFi summer, when we started writing our first smart contacts, there was a friendly ghost who wanted to spread the word of crypto. One day, the ghost met a young Halo Hero who was eager to learn about saving and investing. Together, they learn all they could about Aave, Moola, Curve and everything DeFi. Working hard they came up with fun ways to help people to save crypto daily, weekly or monthly.💪
As time went on, the Halo Heros grew in number and skill, taking on more responsibility and eventually surpassing the ghost in knowledge and expertise. Recognising their power, the ghost passed on his precious halo — giving it to the Halo Heroes along with its color changing powers. This moment was when HaloFi was born. 😇
