How To Write a Post on The Hamoye Platform

- Create your Hamoye account (click here to read about how to create a Hamoye account if you do not have one).
- Once your page loads on the “activity feed”, there is a user profile icon that bears your name and your avatar just beneath the search bar.
3. Beneath this user profile is a rectangular post box, complete with a title and content space as indicated by the arrows above.
4. Click on the space labelled “Title” and input your post title, and then proceed to fill out your post as well.
5. You may finish up your post by clicking the blue filled “Post” button as shown above.

As you can see, the post title has a larger font than the body of the post.
7. However, there are other features of the Hamoye platform post that mimics most of the social media platforms, like Facebook, here. Such are the “like”, “comment”, “share” functions.
As indicated by the red arrows in above, a “like” highlights the “like” thumbnail in blue. The comment is likely to take some time to load as seen in the above picture.
Here is a fully loaded comment on a post with the “comment” thumbnail highlighted in blue as well.
However, this user here cannot share the post because he/she does not have any followers.

8. If you look carefully, at the extreme right corner of the nameplate are three dots highlighted in blue. When these dots are clicked, the option to edit or delete a post is presented as can be seen.
9. Falling back to 7, the post that cannot be shared due to lack of followers, to know whether you have followers or not, just look to the right of the search bar, beside the notification bell, and click the encircled avatar. It will lead directly to your profile overview.
You will find out how many followers you have as well. But perhaps, the most effective way to create posts, and keep tabs on those you follow, your posts, and other personal details is to click on the fifth selection on the drop down menu tab to the left of the page “My Profile”, there you will find all you need to know.
