The Gateway for Babylon and EigenLayer
May has been a great month for the Ethereum ecosystem, with the launch of EigenLayer which empowers users with governance through the Eigen token. This, along with the approval of Ethereum ETF, is a major step forward for the entire restaking and Ethereum ecosystem.
Hana Network, built on top of EigenLayer ecosystem, is positioned to play a key role in bringing new users on board. Our Hana Gateway simplifies access, and our suite of consumer-friendly protocols makes blockchain technology approachable and beneficial for everyday users. We are committed to fulfilling our vision of being the go-to platform for consumer applications and chains.

Hana Network testnet has been on fire. Transaction count has been exploding month-over-month, showcasing the incredible interest from our global testnet participants. We’re thrilled with this momentum, and to keep things exciting, a brand new incentivised testnet phase is just around the corner.

🏗️ Positive Feedback
On the first day of May, we kicked off with a feedback form for our testers. We received positive feedback and learned what the testers expect to see in the next phase. The form also provided marketing and development insights on which features to prioritize.
At Hana Network, our primary goal is to build a user-friendly application with the simplest user interface possible. We want it to be so easy to understand that even newcomers can use it without needing any guides, just like the everyday applications you’re already familiar with. We believe this user-friendly approach is key to onboarding new users to the blockchain ecosystem.
🟠 Featured in Babylon Ecosystem
Hana Network received a major shoutout from the Babylon. Their recent article and Twitter thread in the DeFi sector highlighted Hana Network as the gateway for users to enter the Babylon ecosystem and participate in restaking their BTC.
What is Babylon?
Babylon is the project aiming to revolutionize Bitcoin ecosystem with their innovative BTC restaking. Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Focuses on Bitcoin Security: Babylon aims to leverage Bitcoin’s immutable security mechanisms to enhance the security of Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchains.
- Enables Bitcoin Staking: Babylon is developing a mechanism that allows users to stake their Bitcoin on PoS blockchains to earn yield.
- Unlocks DeFi for Bitcoin Holders: By enabling Bitcoin staking, Babylon opens doors for Bitcoin holders to participate in DeFi activities without selling their BTC.
We are honored to be a pioneer application simplifying user onboarding for the Babylon ecosystem.

On-ramp and off-ramp services are major solutions for onboarding new users to the ecosystem. Each service caters to different needs and audiences. At Hana, we will provide on-ramp and off-ramp solutions from leading protocols in this sector, aggregating the best options within a single application.
Kado stands out as a protocol offering convenient on-ramp and off-ramp solutions for a wide variety of global currencies. Users can easily transfer funds using their cards or bank accounts.
By partnering with Kado, Hana Network opens its doors to a whole new audience. Users unfamiliar with crypto will soon leverage Kado’s user-friendly fiat on-ramping and off-ramping to seamlessly enter the Babylon and EigenLayer through our Gateway.
💻 Development Update
Last month, we had significant development updates. These included discussions about FHE Layer 2 solution, Block Explorer, and the Hana Network document, which are currently under development.
This month, as security is our top priority for the community and to be ready for our mainnet launch, we sent our code to an audit firm for review. Additionally, from the community form feedback results, our development team is focusing on improving the user experience.
