People Don’t Always Mean What They Say

Reaching out is hard, but insincerity is worse.

This is an actual conversation I had in my actual life. I found the whole experience awkward but I felt validated because I had a sneaking suspicion that some people didn’t really mean it when they said they would support me if I needed it.

Which I do.

…but people who offer support need to get a grip and stop offering if they can’t follow through.
