Hapi is taking a break.

Well, I certainly did not anticipate this decision.

A few weeks back I announced that we are transforming Hapi into a social enterprise.

While we initially planned to keep Hapi operating during this transition, we have decided to take a break, reflect and rethink how we do things from the ground up.

The reason is two-fold:

  1. To give ourselves some time to rest after many years of intense work without a break. In all honesty, it’s taken a massive toll on our mental health and in order to really move things along at the pace we want to going forward, we need to recharge for a bit and sort ourselves out on a personal level.
  2. We did not start Hapi to merely sell pills. We have latched on to our current products and model for far too long which has held back the pursuit of our far grander vision of the future. As such, we want to take the opportunity during this time to fundamentally transform Hapi into what it needs to become to manifest our long-term vision.

What does this mean?

  • For all existing subscribers, your orders will continue to be shipped without disruption.
  • For anybody wanting to re-order or for new customers, we are limiting sales to our Flow+Doze combo packs.
  • All future orders will be grouped together and shipped each Monday.
  • Support requests will be attended to each Monday too.

It’s both a heart-wrenching, soul-crushing feeling of sadness, and an awe-inspiring feeling of optimism and hope that through this transition, Hapi will be able to realise its full potential.

This makes me excited.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported us through this journey so far, especially our existing subscribers who keep us going. I want to give you all a big hug :-)

Until the next chapter, amigos.
