How to Get the Most Out of A 30 Day Challenge
4 Lessons You Can Apply to Your Next Challenge
Who doesn’t love a good challenge? Judging by the overflowing amount of 30-day, 21-day, 7-day, and 5-day challenges that are available on the internet, it seems like everyone is looking for a way to jumpstart a change in their life. 30 Day (or 21 day…7 day…) Challenges come with promises of losing weight, building muscle, breaking bad habits, developing good habits, and magically transforming you into a stronger, fitter, better, smarter, and more productive person than you were before.
I know this because I’m a sucker for a good challenge. Especially the free ones. There aren’t many that I’ve turned down. Here’s a shortlist of the ones I’ve tried (either, free, paid, or made up myself):
- The 7 Day Master Cleanse
- The 7 Day Miracle Detox Diet, which includes a 48-hour water fast. That inspired me to try a 72-hour water fast.
- The 14 day Sugar Cleanse, which lead to a 40 day Sugar Cleanse.
- 21 Day Standard Process Cleanse
- 10,000 push-ups in a month Challenge
- 30 Day No Alcohol Challenge
- The 30 Day Plank Challenge
- The 30 Day Pull up Challenge
