1/5–1/20 Happy New Year!!

According to the #24solar system, Lessor Cold #小寒 is the coldest time of the year. With the nature covers with Yin majorly (for northern hemisphere), I usually recommended friends and family to keep warm and tonify the Yang.

🧣 Bring out your scarf and beanies, it’s essential to tonify yin and the kidney (essence). Warm foot bath is another convenient way to warm up the yin channels other than #Moxa treatment. Keep your foot warm and no bare foot or summer sandals and flip flops!

🐑 Implementing warm foods in the daily diet, such as lamb, beaf, chicken, sesame, walnuts, and dates to tonify yang. Herbs with pungent and spice, including ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, can stimulate the metabolic process thus warm up the body.

🖤 Some food to nourish Yin, sooth down the heat/fire, and tonify the kidneys includes daikon radish, salty and black colored food including seaweed, purple sticky rice, black beans, and black fungus.
