Dear Paul

In Latin: humble

Before I even researched what Paul meant, I was anticipating its meaning. The only thing came to my mind was the apostle Paul. Out of the 27 books in the New Testament, he wrote 14.

Paul means humble. I am really amazed by how God gave you that name and how it suits you very well. You are probably one of the most humble people I know.

But while Paul means humble in Latin, I thought I’d give it my own meaning. Not just the name, but the person. You, Paul.

First off, you mean so much to me. A best friend. Paul.

He is patient and very kind.

But the word that I would associate Paul with the most is selfless. It’s innate that you put others before yourself. He has a big heart— Paul.

You are genuine and it’s something that people will really like about you.

I have not seen you for years yet I feel like you’re just here with me. I struggled so much this year but you were there to inspire me to keep going. Thank you for not getting tired of me despite my rants.

My 2013 wouldn’t be without you. Happy New Year!

Love always,

Kiel
