When he got back from London in the 1980’s he told me there was a new hit song over there that would NEVER EVER be popular in the US, because it was too monotonous and repetitive. The song was “Every breath you take” by Sting.’

On the island of Corfu, we were invited to Demetrius’s birthday party, a very generous and hospitable Greek friend. When he learned Jim’s name, he was so excited because the translation of Jim in Greek is Demetrius. He reached out to embrace Jim and kissed him on the cheek. Jim blushed ear to ear.
