How would you know if you were a psychopath?

Let’s find out. Here are 7 possible small signs that research suggests are linked to psychopathy. Count up those that apply to you.

1. When Others Yawn, You Don’t

You know that yawns can be contagious, and that when others yawn you just can’t help it, right? No? If not, then that’s the first subtle sign you might just be a psychopath.

Research from Baylor University found that psychopaths have immunity to contagious yawning because it requires empathy – something that’s missing in the psychopathic personality or they have a degree of immunity to.

If you don’t feel empathy, you don’t feel that need to yawn when others do. It’s the first subtle sign.

2. You Don’t Move Your Head in Conversation

A study at the University of New Mexico used AI to track head movements during interviews to see if the AI could predict a psychopathic personality just by the way the subjects moved their heads. It turns out, if staring makes you uncomfortable, there may be a good reason for that.
