So, How Fit are You?

To answer this important question, this week’s article presents six simple tests covering cardiovascular fitness, strength, flexibility, and balance. All tests are adjusted for age and gender.

A decent score across the board can help you optimize your experience of life. Indeed, life gets a lot more fun when experienced through a fit body!

But we don’t need to take fitness too seriously either. Pushing too hard can consume too much time and energy. It might even lead to injury.

That’s why all the tests present an “average” level that everyone should strive to exceed and an “excellent” level where we should start to think whether further gains are really worth it.
