Sleep is the very foundation of human health and performance. If it’s neglected, many things go wrong. But sadly, chronic sleep deprivation is so common in our modern world that it’s hard to even label as a problem.

So, let me present to you the simplest possible test of whether you’re chronically sleep-deprived. Just answer this question:

Do you wake up with an alarm on most days?

If yes, you’re chronically sleep-deprived. It’s obvious if you think about it. The whole purpose of an alarm clock is to yank you out of sleep before your mind is well-rested and ready to awaken.

This week’s article discussed the art of waking up at the desired time without the aid of an alarm clock. Master this art to experience the world through a well-rested body and mind. Highly recommended!

Have an HHWPS weekend!
