Ybor City, Florida, was once a major cigar production hub, crafting over 400 million cigars annually. J.C. Newman Cigar Co., Ybor's last major cigar manufacturer, recently inaugurated Cigar Workers Park. This park honors the many individuals involved in the local cigar industry since 1886.

The park is near their notable red building, El Reloj, in Tampa, opposite J.C. Newman's factory and headquarters. The area is steeped in cigar-making heritage and now hosts this new tribute.

The park, open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., features historical cigar elements. Materials from a tobacco barn contribute to its design, including a distinctive fountain. It also hosts a variety of native flora and a bat colony. Visitors can enjoy the park after exploring J.C. Newman’s factory and cigar museum.
