So you start your day with full energy and high hopes that today you will make more time and be ultra-productive. You start with a nice quick workout, then set off to the office. And, there you find yourself engrossed in the work so heavily that towards the dawn you’re drained.

Next day, the first thing in the morning is you turn to few inspirational productivity blogs and read few hacks to apply in your daily life. You apply for 2–3 days and then again you’re back to your routine and start thinking that all these productivity hacks are myths.

While not all are myths but yes there are few and you need to stay away from those. Save your time man!

1. Write a to-do list

I do follow this religiously. It has improved my work style. But here writing a to-do list is a myth. How well do you stick to follow that list matters the most. You can write your things to do on a paper, on your diary, on your phone, wherever you wish to, but you should stick to following the same.

This should be your individual to-do list, where you lists down all your major and minor things to do for the day. But hold on, how shall you put this into habit? Shall it be reminded to you by someone else?

Well, you can either follow this whiteboard productivity hack or if you move often for your work, you can opt in for this mobile app, who would remind you of your priorities from that particular to-do list.

2. Don’t multitask

I have heard and read multiple times about how multitasking can kill your productivity. I need to focus on one thing at the moment and chuck out all of the rest things and blah blah blah…

While its true, perfection comes from focus. And, focus comes from a single thing at a time. But what if you’re a person, who is wearing multiple hats, at the job. What if you’re an entrepreneur and you need to deal with a lot of things at the same time? What if you’re a manager or a team lead and you need to allocate resources, assign tasks, oversee completion and prioritize the things? Here in all these scenarios, you can’t justify yourself with one thing at a time. You need to be ultra-productive in managing all different responsibilities at your shoulders. You can’t be an escapist and say you can’t multitask and that multitasking kills productivity.

Here the hack is to really focus on one thing for the particular time while keeping other tasks under your vision or delegated.

How can you be ultra-productive and multitask? Download this work place mobile app and delegate your tasks to VIRA (Virtual assistance). This way, you focus on a single thing and rest tasks are managed simultaneously.

3. Work hard, party harder!

If you love this one, you might be a party animal. Who doesn’t love to hangout, be relaxed and out of work? But working hard to attend a party on time is a serious myth.

Instead work smart, party harder!

Yeah, you need not put in all your extra efforts, stay late night in the office to finish off your work sharp at Friday evening. Rather, you should opt in to be a smart worker by optimizing the way you work. This work place app lets you visualize how productive and smart you have been with a particular task within the given time.
