Long time no see! It’s almost a year of not giving an update of our living environment in HappyFresh. And we’re back with a good news.
One of our software engineers, Qurrata A’yuna Adrianus (or you can call her Yuna), just came back from Bali after delivering FRESH ideas to the world. She joined The 2019 International Conference on Advanced Computer Science and Information Systems (ICACSIS) and presented her (and her team)’s ideas / research with the title “Developing Interaction Design to Provide Public Facilities Information for Persons with Disabilities”.
A bit information regarding The 2019 International Conference on Advanced Computer Science and Information Systems (ICACSIS)
It was held 12–13 October 2019 in Melia Bali, Nusa Dua, Bali. It is an international forum which brings together those who are actively involved in the field of Computer Science and Information System to report on up-to-the-minute innovations and developments, to summarize the state-of-the-art, and to exchange ideas and advances in all aspects.
A bit summary of the talks
In the talks, Yuna and team discussed about an effective design interaction of BisaGo, an application which provides information about public facilities based on the user needs which consists of two big groups, including persons with disabilities and non-disabled people. The research was conducted in order to help disabled people live easily by creating applications with a design that is easier to use.
In the discussion, Yuna and team also talked about the result of the research which includes three groups of user needs and the evaluation. It shows that there are three groups of user needs for this application, i.e: general needs, primary needs, and special needs. Those are based on the needs of two types of disabilities that are catered on this research, which are physical type and sensory type. Also, the evaluation shows that a simple design is enough to meet the needs of the user. Although, improvements on aesthetic aspect are needed to make it more attractive to the users.
