As CEO of one of the startups that were invited to present at the exclusive WBO event, Regi Wahyu gave a compelling presentation to a diverse audience consisting of policy makers, NGO’s and donors on how the HARA platform will alleviate land certification problems.

The theme of this year’s conference was “Breaking the Mold — New Ideas for Financing Affordable Housing”, and Wahyu’s ideas were certainly in line with that theme.

HARA as a solution for global housing challenges

Presenting in a session revolving around the use of Big Data in tackling challenges to the global housing finance markets, he showed how his company is set to fast-track antiquated and arduous bureaucratic processes.

HARA can be used as an alternative crowd sourcing solution for land titling challenges in developing countries,” Wahyu commented afterwards. He also expressed his gratitude for being able to present about HARA at the conference.

Through HARA’s combination of blockchain technology and the team’s experience in Big Data management, the now lengthy and muddled process will become easier, faster and more transparent.

“In Indonesia, manual paper data collection of households is commonly done by community leaders,” Wahyu explained. This method of data collection is anything but foolproof, which often leads to various issues involving titling and transfer of property.

Through HARA, this process can be digitized and expands the reach to more remote, hardly accessible areas, improving the accuracy of the documentation.

“We create an ecosystem to empower people to share their data in a transparent, traceable and secured way to create positive impact for billions of people in this planet earth.”

- CEO of HARA, Regi Wahyu
