HARA welcomes Dr Yos Ginting and Koji Shima as advisors

HARA is pleased to announce that Dr Yos Ginting and Koji Shima have joined the team as advisors.

Yos Ginting, PhD

Dr Ginting is a blockchain promoter in the service industry. He is also a member of the board of commissioners at Sampoerna and serves as chairman of the board of directors at Indonesia Services Dialogue.

Previously, Ginting was the director of government affairs and stakeholder outreach at Philip Morris International.

“I think HARA interests me so much because the type of the application. I mean, it’s not that other applications are not useful or not good, but I think that being able to apply technology to the grass roots and also recognizing that these some of the groups that will probably have the most impact is actually very, very important. There will be lots of challenges but I think it’s a very exciting and promising project to work on,” — Dr Yos Ginting

It is this practical application of HARA and the blockchain technology it uses that excites Ginting the most about the project. According to him, we are now only seeing the tip of the iceberg in that respect. He is certain that once the tech is fully rolled out, we will be amazed by the creative ways in which people will make use of the technology to get the most out of it.

Ginting will assist in the growth of HARA with his expertise in outreach activities. As an advisor, he will mostly focus on helping build the HARA community and engage with blockchain and agriculture industry experts and business leaders.

“I hope I will be able to contribute from my past knowledge and experience in terms of working with farmers, and in terms of working and communicating with regulators. Because not only do we have to be able to find something that is useful, the sustainability of what we find is eventually also very important. And the regulatory office is a very important aspect in that as well.”

Koji Shima

Shima is the CEO of Paw Mark Japan, and President Commissioner of PT Amalgamated Tricor. He currently also serves as a Senior Advisor at PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk, and is a commissioner at Mitra Panca Persada.

Prior to his current engagements, Shima was CEO of PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk (MPM Group) from 2013 to 2015. Prior to joining MPM, he spent 20 years with Japan’s major trade and investment house, Nissho Iwai Corporation.

Shima has over 30 years of experience in international trade, retail sales, and investments in America, Europe and Southeast Asia. With his investment experience around the world, Shima advises HARA Token how to approach new investors in the blockchain world.
