The Grand Launching of the Indonesia Blockchain Hub
If you ask people on the street if they know what blockchain is, chances are they will not be able to tell you. In fact, most are likely to just give a confused look before scurrying along. But that might soon be very different, as this Thursday we will see the grand launching of the Indonesia Blockchain Hub.
The Indonesia Blockchain Hub describes itself as the gateway to Indonesia’s growing blockchain ecosystem. Its mission is to bring the Indonesian blockchain community together, to drive innovation and collaboration, and to provide education on blockchain technology and its potential to all stakeholders in the Indonesian blockchain ecosystem.
HARA wholeheartedly supports the Indonesia Blockchain Hub initiative. Blockchain technology is set to revolutionize the world, and right now, every country is still on a level playing field because the technology is so new. It is important that Indonesia is not left behind. In fact, at HARA, we believe that Indonesia has great potential to become a leader in the field.
The Indonesia Blockchain Hub will be a key instrument which will catapult the Indonesian blockchain ecosystem to new heights. It will be a place where members of the community can come together to learn from each other, to collaborate on new projects, and where talent will be discovered.

The grand launch this Thursday will feature an impressive list of speakers. The event will feature two international panel discussions with speakers from seven different countries, and give attendees plenty of room to network with big names in Southeast Asia’s blockchain world.
Finally, the official opening ceremony of the Indonesian Blockchain Hub will include remarks given by Dr Chatib Basri, the former Indonesian minister of finance, and Rosan Roeslani, the chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
