🌲🌳🌴Happy Earth Day! We hope that today every one of you gets time to spend in nature and its bounty. The further preservation of the Earth is why we are so passionate about sustainable transport methods like hyperloop. If we can remove even 5 freight carrying diesel trucks or trains and instead replace them with hyperloop pods that have a higher speed and negligible emissions, the decrease in yearly CO2 and NOx emissions will be dramatic, especially at distances between 250 and 1000 miles.

However, to get this decrease through new technology, we need understanding and technology from around the world and from a variety of perspectives. The engineering required for this technology to be TRULY 0 or net zero emissions is substantial; vacuum systems are still extremely high energy usage requirements, pods need batteries that are made with rare earth metals, and others. To get these perspectives, we need a worldwide hyperloop competition that values all of these perspectives and brings them to a track for true verification.

For 2 years, we have lacked such a competition and were left in the dark by SpaceX. Will you please sign this petition to help teams worldwide to get at least a discussion going with SpaceX?
