Starting today, we’re doing something new.

We discover awesome things on the internet all the time. We’re certain that you do, too.

But the internet is an ephemeral place. Once you publish something, it reaches a certain audience in the first few days, then mostly dies out.

So we’ve decided to start keeping a weekly log — a web log, if you will — of the things we find and love.

Here’s how it works: every Friday we post a roundup of all the things we loved that week. We use the Michelin star system (1–3 stars) and give it a short review.

Why? Mostly because we think you’ll love them too. But also to have a place to return to, a library of sorts, where we can revisit the things we once loved.

So, without further adieu, here is the first ever Hardbound “Week In Review” 🍾

1. The Simple Solution to Traffic

I can honestly say I will never look at traffic the same way again. ★

2. Language & Meaning: Crash Course Philosophy #26

A short yet awesome (and funny) lesson in semiotics from the one and only Crash Course. Love it. ★★

3. The Next Great Platform is the One That We Already Have

You’re not too late. Such a good post by Josh Elman. ★

4. A Flight Through The Universe

It’s hard not to watch this and imagine who’s living out there. Incredible. ★★

That’s it!

Also, here are some links to the stuff we created this week:
