Harding High School; the place of diversity and opportunities. With the many clubs and programs that Harding has to offer, any student enrolled at Harding has the chance to start out their extracurricular life. To name some of the many clubs here at Harding, Harding has clubs such as Cooking club, Earth club, Fashion club, S.E.A (South East Asian) club, NJROTC( Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training), Science club, philosophy club, J-club, K-club, GSA , technology club, astronomy club, Sign Language club, Student council, Genius Squad, Knight crew, Tri-M (a national honor society for musicians) and let’s not forget the electronic student newspaper site called “The Beacon”.

There are also quite a few college access programs intended to support highly motivated students with the intention of enrolling in higher education into achieving college admission by meeting monthly, and providing the skills needed to apply for college, such as ACT prep preparation, providing tutoring, and career explo-ration, helping to provide financial aid, teaching about the many kinds of study skills, helping with college applications, and going on college & university campus tours. Some of the college access programs here that provides many of these services listed above are programs such as Upward Bound, College Possible, MEP (also known as Multicultural Excellence Program), and ETS (Educational Talent Search).

In total, there would probably be around 40 to 50 clubs (not forgetting the programs that Harding has to offer) started at Harding lead all by students. With all the clubs started here at Harding, any student would be able to add on to their passions, dreams, interests, and hobbies.
