Summer has Gone.

Hey Harlem,
You blinked and it’s September.

The dog days of summer are gone and fancy fall is poised to make its appearance with the usual style, changing color of the leaves and the nip in the air, a clear indicator that winter is just a breeze away, and with that the full holiday season and a New Year!

But before you buy the turkey, wrap the holiday gifts and plan your “new,” — new year resolutions, take a moment and look long and hard at our “Harlem-hood.”

Changes are every where, impacting on everyone and that’s good news and bad news.

The good news is usually wrapped around food and right on Amsterdam Avenue, adjacent to CUNY, there are new spots to grab lunch (with Indian flavor), drink a smooth coffee that’s poured like a “fine Guinness beer”-cold pressed and for pulled, fresh noodle lovers it’s a short walk, on Broadway, to taste Vietnamese street food.
