Today we’re excited to announce that Anyswap and Harmony are coming together to support bridging native BTC directly to Harmony.
Anyswap Bridge:
Anyswap is a fully decentralized cross-chain swap protocol, which enables any blockchain that uses ECDSA or EdDSA as a signature algorithm access to cross-chain bridge solutions. Anyswap has deployed cross-chain bridges for more than 500 projects and has developed 19 chains since its’ launch on the 20th of July 2020.
Key features of Anyswap include:
- Non-custodial+MPC: Anyswap doesn’t possess any funds/assets that are owned by an individual, instead, the whole operation process is made by trustless smart contracts and the Anyswap MPC network.
- Native swap: Native swap makes it less complicated to cross-chain swap between native tokens. This can be done without wrapped tokens
- Multichain Router: This feature allows users to swap between two chains arbitrarily, which reduces fees and makes it easier to move between chains.

Now Bitcoin holders have a direct way to bridge and access decentralized finance products on Harmony and earn yield on their Bitcoin while holding on to their full balance.

How to use the bridge:
STEP ONE — Go to https://anyswap.exchange/bridge?network=1666600000 to view the AnySwap Bridge. Connect your MetaMask wallet and ensure the network is set to “ONE Mainnet”:

STEP TWO — Next, you need to enter the amount of BTC that you want to bridge to Harmony (minimum 0.01 BTC), your BTC address, and finally click on “CrossChain Deposit.”
STEP THREE — Deposit the amount you entered to the address shown in the form from your BTC wallet.
Remember that your BTC deposit address will differ from the example address listed above. DO NOT DEPOSIT to the address visible in the picture above!
Since the transaction is settled on Bitcoin’s network it may take time before it reaches 1 confirmation. After 1 confirmation has been reached, AnySwap will typically start processing the bridge request and the BTC will be available on Harmony as:
