By partnering with Gitcoin, Harmony reaffirms its commitment to developers. We understand that our job is to build a rich ecosystem so that others will want to build on us. 🦄 The Gitcoin Community

Gitcoin is a well-known brand and staple in the Ethereum Community. We are thrilled to be working with them.

In the coming months, developers from the Gitcoin community will be able to work on bounties focused on the Harmony-to-Ethereum Bridge, DeFi applications on Harmony, and more.

They’ll also be able to hack on great ideas for moving the Harmony ecosystem forward. Some of the ideas that we’re excited about include Crosschain Uniswap, integrating Bitcoin into DeFi and onto Harmony, and much more.

⭐ Building Bridges and Communities

The other day we announced Horizon: Harmony-to-Ethereum Bridge. Our first hackathon will be focused on applications that utilize the bridge. We will be posting more on this soon, including an amazing cast of volunteer judges. We’ll share more on this soon.

💻 Reaching Across Chains

Harmony has never believed in a “one chain rules all” mentality. The truth is that every chain has tradeoffs. In a multi-chain world, the best thing to do is to be a chain that’s easy to work with, has assets and protocols that work on the native chain as well as on other chains. We’re excited to continue building our own ecosystem but also in working with other chains in cooperation to make the web3 vision a reality.
