Harvest is reborn with the version 3 launch of its flagship app. Here’s a glimpse into what’s new and what’s to come.
Nearly three years ago launching in the fertile fields of DeFi Summer, Harvest Finance delivered a yield farming protocol with the core idea of BreadforthePeople, unlocking the freshest yields on Ethereum for everyone.
After months of hard work prepping the farmlands for another summer, we are excited to announce that Harvest 3 is now live!

As the DeFi landscape matures, we recognized the need for Harvest to evolve in tandem with the everchanging landscape and needs of its farmers.
While the ‘farmer degen’ narrative served us well initially, it no longer fully represents the level of trust and professionalism we aim to offer to mainstream Web3 users.
As a result, we’ve taken significant strides to level up with Harvest 3.
In a nutshell, what’s new?
Harvest 3 offers a streamlined overview of available farming opportunities.
You can now easily browse strategies that suit your needs by filtering through the network, advancement level, token type, or by searching for a specific underlying platform.
Gone are the days of manually scrolling through our list of dozens of farms when we announce them on Twitter or elsewhere.
With Harvest 3, each farm now has its own dedicated page, equipped with:
- APY breakdown
- APY/TVL/My Balance chart with selectable timeframes
- Deposit & Withdrawal module
- Rewards box
- Farm details box
- Dedicated URL
These new features aim to enhance Harvest’s products' transparency, enabling users to make better-informed decisions.
Partnership with Wido
Preannounced in late March 2023, Harvest partnered with Wido to provide users with a seamless user experience when interacting with our farms.
Gone are the days of manually acquiring complex LP tokens to start farming.
With Harvest 3, you simply connect your wallet, pick a token from assets you already hold, and our module will convert it into the appropriate token for deposit.
Saving you time, money, and the headache of multiple 3rd party interactions.
Dedicated Portfolio
The revitalized dashboard helps you manage all your farming positions with ease and displays extrapolated earnings in both token and USD terms.

Improvements under the hood
While the visual enhancements and user interface upgrades of Harvest 3 are immediately noticeable, a host of equally significant changes have taken place behind the scenes. These ‘under the hood’ improvements may not catch your eye at first glance, but they are integral to the refined experience that Harvest 3 offers.
One such improvement is the revamped API, which has been redesigned to provide more efficient data handling and faster response times, making your interactions with Harvest 3 smoother and more seamless.
Additionally, we have enriched the farm descriptions with links to assets and underlying pools and vaults, making it easier for users to navigate and understand the full context of each farming opportunity.
To enhance visual recognition, we have designed dedicated icons for over 100 farms. This new feature not only improves the aesthetics of the platform but also assists users in quickly identifying and navigating to their farms of interest.
The deposit module, a key component of Harvest 3, was internally designed from scratch in collaboration with Wido. This component has been re-engineered to optimize the deposit process, eliminating the need for manual LP token searches and making farming with Harvest more straightforward than ever.
Furthermore, the Harvest team has spent countless hours parsing historical blockchain data to display APY and TVL charts accurately.
This meticulous work ensures that users have access to precise and comprehensive data, contributing to an informed decision-making process.
These substantial under-the-hood works, while not immediately visible, serve as the backbone of the seamless and user-friendly experience Harvest 3 offers.
