The Details of the $LQTY staking Vault and Its Story
On July 22, Harvest deployed a new Vault labeled Liquity: LQTY, which comes with a story worth highlighting.
A few days earlier, on July 18, one of Harvest’s community members, georgeroman has posted a pull request on adding Liquity’s $LQTY staking strategy.
Our humble builders quickly responded to it, provided feedback, and ran a few tests. Five days later, the strategy is now live on harvest.finance delivering fresh yields to farmers.

What is $LQTY?
It’s the secondary token issued by Liquity alongside its $LUSD stablecoin. $LQTY captures the fee revenue generated by the system and incentivizes early adopters and frontends.

Liquity is a decentralized borrowing protocol that allows you to draw interest-free loans against Ether used as collateral. Loans are paid out in LUSD (a USD pegged stablecoin) and need to maintain a minimum collateral ratio of 110%.
