Since our last update, there has been a number of exciting developments. We announced our partnership with OpenCrowd, who will be helping us build next generation decentralized applications. OpenCrowd is currently developing for the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance, R3’s Corda… and now Swirlds’ hashgraph. Also, the hashgraph community saw immense growth as our Telegram channel surpassed 15,000 supporters and meetups continue to grow in popularity, with successful events in Minneapolis, Portland, Toronto, India, Chicago, Hong Kong, San Jose, and Paris. Going global!

Over 100 people in attendance at the latest Chicago meetup

We are seeing an immense amount of support from community members who are leading hashgraph meetups all over the world. Recently, our Chicago meetup had over 100 people in attendance with Kyle Armour giving an introductory presentation comparing hashgraph to the rest of the market in terms of performance and security. This was followed by a webinar from Paul Madsen, Technical Specialist, and Ken Anderson, Lead Developer Advocate, who went deeper into the algorithm and the SDK.
