Ethereum Ecosystem Leaders to Explore the Future of the World’s Computer on Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023
Co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and HashKey Group, and organised by W3ME, the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 will take place from April 12 to 15.
Hong Kong, April 6, 2023 — We are pleased to announce the “Ethereum Ecosystem” themed session of the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 will be held on April 15th at the Main Stage on the 5th floor of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKECE), in collaboration with SNZ.
The morning session will feature guest speakers including Shuyao Kong, Director of Global Strategic Initiatives, ConsenSys; Roger Brogan, Solution Architecture Director of Chainlink Labs; Frank Lou, Founder, UniPass; Zainan Zhou, Ethereum’s EIP Editor, and Kevin Yu, Co-founder and CEO of Clique. The event will provide a platform for exchanges between prominent Ethereum projects, investors, and community representatives. They will also share their insights and outlook on the development of the Ethereum ecosystem. From its conceptualization to project launch, and gradual evolution towards maturity, what are the major milestones in Ethereum’s development journey? The morning session will feature an Ethereum early “OG” dialogue, inviting early Ethereum OGs to share their achievements and journeys with the development of Ethereum, including Jerry Liu (Bitcrab), Co-founder and Managing Partner of Waterdrip Capital; DU Yu, General Director, Wanxiang Blockchain Labs; Ben HE, Co-founder and CEO of imToken, and Ross Zhang, Managing Partner of SNZ.
The upcoming Shanghai upgrade of Ethereum expected in April will bring new investment opportunities. Representatives from renowned investment institutions such as Xiao Xiao, partner of HashKey Capital; Kobby Chen, Investment Director of Fenbushi Capital; Jared Young, Director of Venture Capital, Tower Research; Seth Ginns, Managing Partner of CoinFund, and Gavin, Managing Partner of SNZ, will gather for a roundtable discussion on “Investment Opportunities After the Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade”.
Community education is key to the Ethereum ecosystem. During the “Community Education and Public Goods” themed roundtable discussion, community leaders and representatives such as Peet, Co-founder of Trusta Labs; Bob, Lead of Chinese Community, Gitcoin; TANG Han, Founder of SeeDAO; Pablo, Contributor of PlankerDAO, and TU WEN, Green Pill OP, will engage in in-depth discussions on the topic. On the afternoon of April 15th, the “Ethereum Ecosystem” themed session will move to Sub-stage 2 and be presented in the form of flash talks and workshops. The event is supported by the community through BuidlerDAO, Crypto Tech Night, DAOSquare, Dapp Learning, ethereum.cn, ETHPlanet, FDU DAO, Gitcoin China, Green Pill’s Chinese community, PlanckerDAO, Rebase, SeeDAO, and VoyagerOne. We have also invited Frank Kong, Asia Pacific Developer Community Leader of Chainlink Labs; Jones HO and Stanley Yuen, Technical Lead at ConsenSys, to share their expertise on Chainlink, Consensys, Web3 infrastructure, and the Ethereum ecosystem.

The inaugural Hong Kong Web3 Festival (12–15 April) is a virtual asset-focused conference co-hosted by the HashKey Group and Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and organised by W3ME at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
