Leaders and Experts to share insights on “Bitcoin Ecosystem: Technology and Develpoment” for the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023
Co-hosted by Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and HashKey Group, and organised by W3ME, the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023 will take place from April 12 to 15.
HONG KONG, March 27, 2023 — The “Bitcoin Ecosystem: Technology and Development” session will be held on April 14th at the main stage of the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2023. The session, jointly organised by conference co-conveners DeFiDAO News, BTC Media, and the organisers, aims to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by Bitcoin technology in its continuous development process, and to look forward to the future development direction of the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Since the birth of the genesis block in 2009, Bitcoin has become one of the most well-known cryptocurrencies globally, and its ecosystem has continuously grown and developed. With more and more people recognising virtual assets, the market size of Bitcoin has skyrocketed. Currently, its global market value has exceeded $1.5 trillion. At the same time, some traditional financial institutions, hedge funds, and corporate institutional investors have also begun to enter the Bitcoin market. The influx of these institutional investors has not only driven the development of the Bitcoin market but also brought more recognition and sustainable growth momentum to Bitcoin. As the beginning of the blockchain industry, what industry guidance can we summarise from the development process of the Bitcoin network? What are the development trends of virtual assets in the future?

The inaugural Hong Kong Web3 Festival (12–15 April) is a virtual asset-focused conference co-hosted by the HashKey Group and Wanxiang Blockchain Labs and organised by W3ME at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
