Hashmappers Climb Stone Mountain for Houston Hurricane Relief
Hashmap Contributes to JJ Watt Foundation Charities in Hurricane Relief Event

As a technology services company, we tend to stay very focused on Big Data and IIoT / IoT technology and application solutions in our blog, but today we wanted to share with you a recent charity event that was organized from our Roswell, GA headquarters.
Giving Back to Our Community
We work with incredible customers and innovative partners across North America in delivering business value, but also understand our social responsibility, the need to contribute back to the communities that we work in, and the importance of doing something that is larger than just ourselves. Many communities in the US and around the world are recovering from recent natural disasters and need significant help and continued assistance.
Hashmappers Climb for Houston
Earlier this month, Hashmappers from our Roswell office participated in a “Climb for Houston” charity event at Stone Mountain, GA to support communities in Houston that are still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Stone Mountain is 1,686 feet above sea level and on clear days offers amazing views of downtown Atlanta, the North Georgia mountains and the surrounding area up to 60 miles away.
Hashmappers enjoyed a fun fall afternoon challenging themselves (needless to say, most of us are doing a lot more sitting, coding, and typing than climbing) and each other while interacting together on the way to the summit.
Everyone participating in the event donated to Houston Hurricane relief and Hashmap double-matched the amounts that were donated by everyone that climbed to the summit of Stone Mountain. Donations were provided to relief charities supported by the JJWatt Foundation which has raised over $37M in donations to date for Hurricane Harvey relief and community assistance.
To round out the day, everyone enjoyed a great time recharging with tasty snacks and cold beverages — we are looking forward to the next event and further opportunities to contribute back to the community.
