When thinking about cloud automation, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with thoughts about cost and the risk associated with that cost. Aran Khanna, Co-Founder and CEO at Archera, is hoping to change that mindset.
On a recent episode of Hashmap on Tap, Aran joined host Kelly Kohlleffel over a couple of sparkling waters (Lemon LaCroix for Aran, HEB Sparkling Lemon Strawberry for Kelly) to discuss how Archera is bringing cloud automation to anyone running in the cloud that, until now, only big companies could achieve. Archera delivers an AI-based Cloud Resource Automation Solution that actively manages and de-risks cloud resources, helping customers to avoid wasting their cloud dollars.
Before starting Archera, Aran spent some time at AWS and Microsoft Azure, as well as co-founded Glia Intelligence. While working with these bigger companies, he noticed that they were able to fully automate their cloud management tasks, which allowed their engineers to focus more on higher-value outcomes. On the other side of the spectrum, the smaller companies were having to spend their time and resources on manually dealing with those same tasks. Archera seeks to prevent that level of time and resource waste by offering more automation for all companies while still making sure that humans are able to step in when needed.
