On a recent episode of Hashmap on Tap, Clément Galopin joined show host, Kelly Kohlleffel. Clément is the Co-Founder & CPTO at Octolis, which he describes as a “product-driven startup.” Over the course of the episode, Clément discusses his background in consulting, as well as the beginnings of Octolis, their plans for the future, and his perspectives on the future of the modern data stack.

Octolis is enabling business teams to combine all of their customer data, enrich it, and sync it back to operational tools and business systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, Mailchimp, and others. Octolis handles activities such as data standardization, deduplication, and scoring and has over 30 native connectors.

On tap for today’s episode: Sortilège and spiked coffee. Sortilège is a Canadian whisky with maple syrup, and it reminds Clément of good memories from studying abroad in Québec. For Kelly — a “spicy-sweet bourbon coffee” — coffee with an espresso shot, Four Roses Bourbon, organic maple syrup, a little bit of cream, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to spice it up.
