Samsung Pay has partnered with RippleNet member Finabr

Samsung Pay opens doors for cross-border payments in 47 countries of the world. The company made a partnership with RippleNet member Finabr.

Tech giant’s Samsung service Samsung Pay teams up with Finabr, a RippleNet member. This will make international payments a reality.

Korean-based mobile payments service Samsung Pay expands its influence in the industry. Recently, the tech giant has partnered with payments platform Finablr, Ripple’s RippleNet member. This deal will provide cross-border payments feature Money Transfer for Samsung Pay users. Finablr claims that the new feature will make possible seamless, secure and cheap international money transfers to 47 countries. All of this within Samsung’s native mobile wallet.

Users will now about all the fees and exchange rates in advance, the system’s security is backed by Samsung Knox. The vice president and head of content and services division at Samsung Electronics America noted:

“The range of services in Samsung Pay, developed in close collaboration with industry leaders such as Finablr, positions us to positively impact consumers’ everyday financial experiences.”
