From Intern to RiteTag Director of Mobile to What I Do Now: Interview with Shashank Bharadwaj
People of RiteTag: Meet Our First Head of Mobile — Shashank Bharadwaj!
During his time with RiteTag (now RiteKit), Shashank proved that an internship can open more doors than a four-year college degree.
Entering as a web development intern in 2014, Shashank credits RiteTag for the opportunities that opened for him and made him attractive to employers in San Francisco. He tells us it is the single reason he was asked to become the technical lead at WorkGenius.

After working on the site and browser extensions, Shashank made our first Android app and later presented his concept for a custom keyboard — the inspiration for an upcoming software release. Shashank worked closely with our CTO, Michal on the concept and MVP, and with Saul on staffing his division. Shashank impressively led two iOS student devs and two android student devs in an effort to create a hybrid application meant to replicate the web experience with cross platform technology.
It’s impossible to summarize the full impact Shashank has had on our SaaS product and the team. His name will forever be included on our site. He remains a friend to the project and an advisor to Camila, our current Mobile Lead.
