Why did we update Campaigns?

Customers today are truly saturated with the brand communications — offers and redundant updates — they receive, ensuring your messages stand out amongst these is becoming increasingly difficult by the day.

To make certain that customers not only acknowledge your communication but also act in accordance to it; targeted engagement is of utmost importance. With the wide choice available to them and clear knowledge of what they want, your customers can’t be sent generic communication as they expect a personal touch.

Our aim of this update is to enable you to bid goodbye to the one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to your messaging. The new campaign flow allows you to conduct individualized marketing driven by data, which will maximize the returns on your efforts.

What’s new in Campaigns?

We’ve summarised the updates as below:
Increased Targeting Options
Sift through your customer audience and target the potentially profitable customers. Send campaigns to specific customer segments based on their behaviour and preferences.
The detailed targeting options are as described below:

  1. Customer Type
    Choose from customers that have either Transacted or Leads you’ve Uploaded.
  2. Lifecycle Segment
    Select customers based on their Segment defined by Purchase History, Frequency and Spend. (New, Growth, At Risk, Lapsed, Lost, VIP, Birthday)
  3. Loyalty Tier
    Add customers as per the Tier they fall in, defined by Spend or Visit. (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Tiers as Customized)
  4. Feedback Response
    Specifically target customers as per their CSAT — Customer Satisfaction Score (Satisfied, Neutral or Unsatisfied) or as per their NPS — Net Promoter Score (Promoters, Passives or Detractors)
  5. City and Outlet Location
    Designed keeping in mind Enterprise Merchants, choose customers of all or specific outlets from a City
  6. User Attributes
    Target customers as per Demographics and attributes such as Points Balance.

Test Campaigns
We understand how annoying it can be to notice an error after rolling out a campaign to your entire customer base. Use Hashtag Loyalty’s Test Campaign feature to send a trial campaign to designated contacts and chalk out errors prior to a roll-out.

Enhanced Personalization via Text Tags
Once you have chosen whom you want to target and segmented the database, it is essential to personalize your marketing messages. Hashtag Loyalty allows you to use Text Tags which automatically fetch details for individual customers. The tags are as below:

*URL*: Use this tag to include a link to your brand Reward Page on the Hashtag Loyalty website.
*FNAME*: Use this tag to include customer First Name
*BALANCE*: Use this tag to include customer Balance Points
*RCOUNT*: Use this tag to include Number of Available Rewards for a customer.
*RPOINT*: Use this tag to include the Points from the next available reward for a customer.
*FEDURL*: Use this tag to include a link to your Feedback Form.
*RAFNT*: Use this tag to include the Spend Amount away from next Tier Level.
*CTIER*: Use this tag to include the Current Tier of a customer.
