Saluti Da Marte \ Artist Julien Mauve \ Sony World Photography Awards \ Milano \ Italy. Oggi non posterò nulla di particolarmente toccante, ma anticipo che ho finito di leggere il libro della Lynsey Addario “In Amore e in guerra” e quindi ne parlerò. Parlerò del concetto di verità perché è ciò di cui parla la Addario . La fotografia come documentazione di una pseudo verità, linguaggio come strumento del vero. Oggi mostrerò un’immagine che ho visto al Sony World Photography Awards’ s exhibition ed il cui ambito è la “fotografia concettuale” che io adoro. Trovo interessante il concetto dietro l’ immagine che sia di documentazione o di pensiero. Il concetto è l’identità dell’autore che si esprime; penetrare il significato delle immagini non solo guardarle ma divorarle, assimilarle, digerire il concetto entrare nell’anima dell’autore, è ciò che mi propongo. Tutto ciò è arte e linguaggio ecco che tutto assume un significato altamente costruttivo e formativo. La fotografia non è solo un continuo vomito di immagini tutte uguali tramonti e orizzonti la fotografia è anima è scrittura attraverso la luce, si attraversa la luce la si ingloba e diventa parte della magia, ecco perché la fotografia è magia, è un gioco per bambini, bambini grandi ma pur sempre bambini. Forse l’esistenza è banale e attraverso le migliaia di foto tutte uguali con lo stesso sapore cercare quell’aroma che ti rapisca che ti lasci senza fiato non è facile. Questo esistere tutto uguale, trovare l’essenza, esistere e respirare nella non banalità. L’autore è Julien Mauve, l’ esplorazione dello spazio ed il comportamento di fronte a paesaggi, come creiamo le immagini che condividiamo; ci viene chiesto se viaggiamo per conoscere, scoprire i posti e nuove prospettive o se viaggiamo per guardare noi stessi per provare che esistiamo davvero. La fotografia non è ciò che vedo ma ciò che assimilo di essa la profondità che faccio mia e tutto ciò è arte, arte dell’anima. Perché spesso lo si dimentica ma siamo anima essenzialmente anima.

Artist Julien Mauve — Greetings from Mars — Sony World Photography Awards — La Mostra — Exhibition — Milan — Italy 2016 — Today I will not post anything particularly poignant, but beforehand I have just finished the Lynsey Addario’ s book and I’ll talk about it. I will talk about the concept of truth because it is what speaks Addario in some pages. The photography as documentation of a pseudo truth, language as a tool of the truth? Today I want to show an image that I saw at the Sony World Photography Awards’ s exhibition and whose scope is the “conceptual photography” which I adore. I find interesting the concept behind an image as documentation or thought. The concept is the identity of the author, penetrate the meaning of the images not just look at them but devour, assimilate, digest the concept of the author’s soul. Everything is art and language and can be highly constructive and of educational significance. Photography is not only a continuous of images all the same sunsets and horizons, photography is soul is writing through the light, cross the light and incorporates it becoming part of the magic, that’s why photography is magic, it is a game for kids , older but still children. The author is Julien Mauve with his exploration of space and behavior in facing landscapes and how we create the images that we share. We are asked if we travel to learn, discover places and new concepts, or we travel to watch ourselves to prove that we really exist. Photography is not what we look at but what we assimilate about it the depthness that we get from it, everything is art, art of the soul.
