Community Update #1
Today marks my first three weeks here at Hat Swap City, and what a trip it has been. In this short time, our development team has grown to ten full time employees, and there is still plenty of room to grow. We have some exciting weeks to come, and I look forward to sharing them with all of you. Now for some updates.
Community Events
We had my first Community AMA on Friday, 1/21, and will continue to have them biweekly for the foreseeable future. I can’t wait to talk to you all again on February 4th. Additionally, we began rolling out weekly giveaways, contests, and more. We’ve given away more than $2000 in two weeks, with much more to come. Our first Meme Contest concluded on 1/21, and we could not be prouder of the amazing creativity of this community. The Fashion Week contest is still going on, so make sure to get those submissions in on Discord and Twitter. Make sure you let your friends know so they have a chance on some easy winnings. Everyone has a chance to win on our Gleam competitions each week. Want to hang out with the development team and have some fun? Come Friday at 10PM UTC to play Among Us with the community and developers!
Beta Weekend Hats
As a special thank you to all of the players who played Hatman during the first beta weekend, we have minted you all a free hat directly to your wallet. This project is all about our community, and we all feel extremely lucky to have such a creative and supportive group of players. Enjoy those hats and let us know what you think!
Hatman and Hat Swap City
As we announced at the Community AMA, Hatman will be releasing on February 22nd, and Hat Swap City District 1 will be releasing in late March. This additional time will allow us to iron out any remaining bugs, as well as making sure the game is as secure as possible.
The Chinese Lunar New Year starts on February 1st and lasts nearly 15 days, in which time most of our Chinese audience will be enjoying time with their friends and family. This new release date will allow us to make the most use of our Asian marketing campaigns and ensure that we have the most possible players upon release.
The Hatman P2E beta will be releasing soon, with the official release close behind it. We appreciate your continued support and cannot wait to share the game with you all!

What’s next?
February is going to be a huge month for Hat Swap City. Hatman releases on the 22nd, and we’re doing our first marketing campaign since the release of our token. We have such an amazing community here, and I am super excited for the future. Make sure to bring your friends and stay active to win our community contests!
