How about a more sinister robo-santa? Robot Santa Claus is one of the main antagonists in Futurama. He is a four-ton robot designed by The Friendly Robot Company, possibly a precursor to Mom’s Friendly Robot Company, in 2801 to judge whether people were naughty or nicе and sort out presents accordingly. Due to a programming error, he always judges everyone as naughty and every Christmas he’s out to commit severe punishments!
My favourite Robo-Christmas collaboration though has got to be Nathan Hale’s wonderful take on the classic Christmas song ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ — reworking the lyrics to be more bot-commodating. And if that wasn’t enough, he even made Lego creations of all of his festive bots! This is a real treat for Christmas and Robotics fans.
