Havas helia appoint Sue Higgs as Group Creative Director

Havas helia have appointed former Publicis Creative Director Sue Higgs to the newly created position of Group Creative Director. Higgs will work across all of the agency’s accounts, with a key focus on Dove. Higgs will report directly to Group Executive Creative Director Steven Bennett-Day.

Higgs joins from Publicis, where she headed up the creative output on Nescafe, Buxton, SMA and the Canadian airline WestJet. Higgs has a wide variety of awards to her name, including a Gold Cannes Lion, Gold Campaign Big Awards, and silvers at The One Show for brands such as Vauxhall, Comfort and WWF. Most recently, Higgs won at a Creative Circle for Circle Collective, a social enterprise that helps get young people from diverse backgrounds jobs.

Higgs said:

“I love ideas. I love film and I love an adventure. Joining Havas helia is the perfect way to marry all three, that is, ply my trade in a different space.”

Bennett-Day said:

“Sue’s skills and experience in beautiful brand film is the perfect compliment to the digital and data biased creative we have at Havas helia. It’s going to make for a great adventure.”

Before Publicis, Higgs worked at Ogilvy & Mather for 13 years, and had previously had spells at M&C Saatchi and Lowe Howard-Spink, where she began her career. One of the leading talents within the UK advertising industry.
