Auf Wiedersehen… for now…
When thinking about how to summarize my Havas Lofts experience, it seems very easy because it was amazing. That summary seems like it would be cliché, but it is true. One of the main reasons this experience was so amazing is because I was able to learn so much. My biggest takeaway of the Lofts Program is: the reminder of the importance of learning.
“Never stop learning, because life never stops teaching”
When being forced outside your comfort zone within both your professional and personal life, it really challenges you to think and live differently. And to me, there is no better way to learn. My dad always said, “As you ramble on through life, whatever may be your goal, keep your eyes upon the donut and not upon the hole.” When looking at your life, focus on the big picture. What does your life mean to you? For me, it is to always be better. He taught me to do things that scared me to grow and become a better person and the best version of myself. Participating in the Lofts program truly did just that — it taught me that there is more to life than what I know and it was a subtle reminder to continue to learn and grow to live the best life I can — professionally and personally.
Havas is big, and has a lot to offer — remember that!
This program was a HUGE reminder of all of the offerings Havas has to help us learn and grow within our professional path. My advice to fellow colleagues and myself is to continue to learn — challenge yourself. Take advantage of all of the offerings Havas provides — we are pretty lucky to have them at our fingertips. Also, networking. There are so many smart people within the network as a whole, including Chicago.

Thank you to Havas for allowing me to participate in this life changing experience. Understanding, teamwork, encouragement, new perspective, learning, growing, etc. etc. — so many things I can bring back on what this program has taught me and reminded me. I cannot wait to be an advocate for this program and to share my experiences with fellow colleagues to encourage them to take part in Lofts and other initiatives Havas provides.

Dankeschön to my Deutsch Familie for guiding me, teaching me and making me feel like we have been friends for years. My heart is warm with our friendships and the personal and professional experience you have bestowed upon me. Without the Havas Lofts program, we never would have met and my life would never be the same without you.
