Havas Lofts London: Week One
Expectations have been far surpassed.
On day one I walk only 10 minutes from the hotel into the hustle and bustle of Soho to find our office in a comfortable nook among theaters, restaurants, and window shopping! The lobby has a sort of warm charm like most of London, with each floor coming to life every morning with the constant movement of bodies and sounds of chatter, phone calls, and presentations creating this kind of hum to which the ideas and people flow.
My first few days include:
Monday: Meeting my mentor, John Cole, and the rest of the Socialyse team
Tuesday: Marking my calendar for “content week” an agency hosted event facilitating interesting presentations and panels discussing trends and brainstorming solutions for common challenges that arise between media and creative teams during content collaboration
Wednesday: Setting up time to meet with fellow London colleagues on the Search, Analytics, and Strategy teams so I can exchange work and ideas with people throughout various departments
Thursday: Pinching myself…this is seriously awesome and a great career opportunity
Friday: After hours team bonding at a lovely pub across the street
