Havas did a very good job with this concept for all the employees in NY. The tool I want to share with you is the HAVAS Village App. Pratical, flexible and necessary when you work in a major company. The great achievement of this project reflects the strong collaboration between 2 cities from Havas Group : NY et London. Yvonne Bond (Global Comms Director in NY) and Timothy Stevenson (Digital producer in NY) managed it ; user experience design and visual design were handled in NY by Ryan Vernon and Bob Terlizzi, and Andy Shaw and Michael Loistl at Mobext London developed it. (Mobext is owned by Havas Media).

So what is it about ?

The « People » button allows you to view headshots, people’s contact information, where are they sitting and who sits near them.

Brillant. It’s better than having a printed list with all the numbers you can never find ;)

For those who are terrible on orientation -as me-, the « Places » button can save your life (not kidding) : a 2D plan allows you to find conference rooms with all their details and location. You can save so much time ! This internal innovative tool is awesome and easy to set up. So, let’s do it !
