Introducing the November 2016 Class of Havas Lofts
What would you do if you had four weeks to learn from an agency in another culture?
Since the pilot program in November 2014, Havas Lofts has provided a unique learning opportunity to 110 participants from 51 Havas agencies, across 14 cities. Lofts is a 4-week training program where participants travel to another Havas agency (in another country) to absorb its way of working — new concepts, different approaches, varying tools, a unique agency culture, and more.
Monday, October 24th kicks off the most expansive class yet — 24 participants hail from New York, Paris, London, Chicago, Boston, Madrid, Milan, and Shanghai. Together, they represent 23 agencies from the Havas Creative Group, Havas Media Group, and partner group Vivendi (CANAL+, Dailymotion, MyBestPro).
And, for an inside peek into our global agencies, be sure to follow @havaslofts on Snapchat— each participant will take over for a day.
And now, please meet the blog contributors — the November 2016 Class of Havas Lofts:
ABOUT HAVAS LOFTS
Focused on enhancing our Together strategy of collaboration and integration across the Havas Group, Havas Lofts is a global learning experience designed to give employees insight into how the Havas network operates across our many countries and cities.
Each Lofts class is comprised of about 20 participants from a variety of disciplines and levels across both Creative and Media groups. By placing participants in Villages around the globe, the program provides a unique look into how Creative and Media groups work together to share tools and resources, exchange best practices, and better serve clients. The program centers on building global skill sets, expanding cultural awareness, and enhancing leadership competencies.
Lofts was piloted in November 2014 with 20 participants in New York, Paris, and London. It has since expanded to feature host agencies in Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Chicago, Prague, Boston, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Miami, Madrid, Milan, and Shanghai. To date, 110 employees have been selected to participate across 49 agencies in 14 cities. The program will continue to run in June and November of each year.
