Part 1 of 3…

Why part 1 of 3 you ask….well, I don’t actually spend much time with my assigned coach Annick Taboul….she is a very busy Creative Director. Some people may see this as a bad thing, but in fact it has worked out quite well as I now have x3 coaches. the first of which is Christophe, to get a better idea about him, take a looksie below:

INTERVIEW 1:
SUBJECT — CHRISTOPHE CLAPIER
Creative Director @ BETC Digital

Q1: Christpohe, tell me a little about yourself…

Answer: I first started out as a 3D Designer / Animator within a video game studio, however this all changed when I met Ivan Beczkowski in Lyon (current president of BETC Digital). We worked together as a creative team (me being his Art Director) and I eventually followed him to Paris….12 years later it feels as though we have both grown up with BETC.

Q2: I find that music plays a big part in every agency I have worked in, what’s your favoourite band at the moment?

Answer: The Roots (click here to listen on Spotify)

Q3: What piece of work / campaign has impressed you the most over the last 12 months

Answer: It has to be Pharell Williams — 24hr music video >>

Q4: What do you love about your job?

Answer: To combine peoples talents to an idea. This is the greatest part of my job. Il love that!

Q5: What’s the best piece of advice you have for someone coming to work in a French agency?

Answer: Forget your ego, your here to serve the group!

Q6: What do you imagine the world of marketing / media will look like in 2050?

I would like to think that my passions of advertising and entertainment will be more integrated within the advertising world, allowinw us the advertisers to create more activities for the consumer to participate in.
