When I think of Shanghai, I think of a city where dualities happily coexist. The colliding of past and present, I think of a city of contradictory extremes and constant change.

As I approached the city I was immediately greeted with such dueling extremes — aggressive rainfall and a synthetic rainbow of colored lights. It was the perfect visual expression of Shanghai.

It’s this type of conflicting energy, which generates the change and rapid growth the city has become known for. I’m super eager to see how this city’s unique energy bleeds into every aspects of life. From business to street style, I’m ready to be inspired by Shanghai’s neon Rainbows.
