I’m almost at the end of my amazing experience here in Barcelona and it was so intense despite the 4 weeks duration that it’s difficult to summarize everything that I’ve learned. Many of my key take aways are still in my head and in my heart:

#personal development

I think that every time we push ourselves out of our comfort zone, we are creating an opportunity to grow and improve. This happened to me thanks to this experience. Out of my home country, out of my home agency, out of my own language, the entire experience was a way to work on my self-confidence and my attitude and I was able to take inspiration from the people around me.

#relationships

I owe most of my experience here to my co-lofter Elise Navarro, Analytics Specialist from Havas Chicago. Although we are from opposite sides of the world and we have very different personalities, we have learned a lot from one another. I strongly believe that differences are a great treasure to learn and expand our vision of the world.

In Havas Barcelona I’ve had the opportunity to observe how the different teams interact and have come to realize that relationships are the key to create successful results.

# culture

After a lot of beautiful museums, amazing art masterpieces and incredible food and wine, I can say that Barcelona has an incredible culture and I completely rediscovered the city. The Havas Media culture is what helped me the most. A culture made of collaboration and good exchanges.

#process & tools

After the program rotation in the different Havas Media departments and the daily exchange with my co-Lofter, I have a better understanding of each department and the various tools and services still not present in Italy. I hope to take my learnings back to Milan and implement some of these innovations in my everyday work.

I left Milan 3 weeks ago with some learning objectives discussed with my boss and I will return back completely enriched and changed, full of new energies (#neversaytired) and ideas. Is that not amazing?
