Havuta Joins Plastic Free Southeast Asia To Combat Plastic Waste

As the world continues to grapple with the devastating effects of plastic pollution, innovative solutions are needed to help reduce our waste and protect the environment.

Fortunately, there’s a new kind of digital asset that can help us do just that. Impact NFTs from Havuta are designed to address many of our pressing social and environmental challenges. They fund the hard work of organizations helping fight climate change, pollution, and social injustice, while offering buyers the peace of mind knowing that the impact they are seeking to support is happening, and is verified by Havuta.

These Impact NFTs are part of Plastic Free Southeast Asia’s larger mission to reduce plastic use and pollution in Southeast Asia. This is a massive undertaking, as the region is the second-largest contributor to plastic ocean pollution, with an estimated 4.5 million tons of plastic entering the world’s oceans each year.

The Plastic Free Southeast Asia NFT collection is designed to fund the organization’s projects that help reduce the use of plastics in Cambodia. The digital assets are created by Havuta, a blockchain-based platform that enables users to tokenize and monetize their digital content.

PFSEA is focusing on education, research, and advocacy, working with local partners to develop solutions that are tailored to the specific challenges of the region.

Impact NFTs are digital tokens that represent a physical asset. In this case, the NFTs are designed to represent a commitment to environmental action. By purchasing an Impact NFT, you are helping to fund real projects that reduce plastic waste in Cambodia, with that impact created by our partners at PFSEA.

Remember, Havuta only aligns with organizations that have a real impact.

The funds generated from the sale of these Impact NFTs will be used to fund and verify programs that focus on reducing plastic use and waste. These programs are education-based, empowering Cambodians to free their country of excess plastic.

This NFT represents one-on-one training to a person in Cambodia to teach them alternatives to living with the use of too much plastic, and the importance of relying less on it. The training will occur in 2023.

This NFT funds training for a group, usually at a smaller local NGO, to help them empower Cambodians to rely less on plastic. It will also be delivered in 2023.

Plastic pollution is one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time, and the world is only beginning to wake up to the damage it’s causing. Fortunately, the amazing team at Plastic Free Southeast Asia (PFSEA) is working hard to reduce plastic use and plastic pollution in Cambodia, and they’ve recently teamed up with us to launch an innovative solution to fund their efforts: Impact NFTs.

We believe that the Impact NFTs can be a powerful tool for change, and we are excited to see the progress that these tokens can make in the fight against plastic pollution.

Help us combat this huge problem by financing the wonderful work of PFSEA, with a Havuta-verification guarantee of impact.
