This month’s episode looks at our Data Science Team, where we speak with Sam Green, Head of Data Science, about the importance of Data Science at Hawk-Eye and what interests him the most about Hawk-Eye’s data offering.
With involvement in over 25 sports, Hawk-Eye’s Data Science team spans multiple sports and uses scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to help deliver new content that enhances the interpretability of the sports through data.
In today’s world, the smallest of margins can now determine the difference between success and failure, and therefore data capture and ownership hold more value now than ever before. Those in charge of the quality, distribution and accessibility of sports content and data, are under tight scrutiny. This is where our Data Science team come in!
Over the coming weeks and months, the Data Science Team will be working closely with our various sports teams to review data and enable us to make informed decisions and provide the most innovative and engaging tech solutions for our clients.
