Team Hawk-Eye: The People Podcast, Episode 2
Episode 2- Systems Operators, the Hawk-Eye Backbone
Hi there — I’m Will (Talent Acquisition Manager — Global Operations) and I’m back for the second instalment of Team Hawk-Eye: The People Podcast Blog. Each month I’m talking to one of our awesome team members so that we can give you insight into what it’s like to be a part of Hawk-Eye. If you didn’t catch the first edition, you can find it here: https://lnkd.in/ep_rrFZ
This month’s theme focuses on the role of a Systems Operator here at Hawk-Eye. For anyone that’s been on our careers page or has looked us up on LinkedIn, you’ll definitely have noticed the Systems Operator job title and you’ll probably have wondered what it actually means.
In short, our Operators are the backbone of Hawk-Eye. Regardless of which sports or regions they’re working in, Systems Operators get hands-on with our hardware and software, setting up our tracking and video review technologies, and delivering our services at games and events across the world.
This month, I’m joined by Djura de Vries so that we can shine a light on what this unique role is all about. Enjoy!
