1. Dark lips

Not everyone has enough guts to wear the trendy black lipstick to class (props if you do!), but there is a way for you to wear darker hues without looking scary. Try a berry, maroon or dusty pink instead for a more natural, but still trendy look.

2. Colored Eyeliner

Black eyeliner might be a staple, but it can get boring from time to time. Try a new shade like an emerald green or navy for a new, fresh way to highlight your eyes.

3. Red Eyeshadow

Red eyeshadow made a big impression on the runways this season, but it can look a little scary in everyday life. If you’d like to try this daring trend, just remember not to go overboard and focus the majority of the color on the lids. Or, for a more daring option, blend a darker red or maroon into the crease for a little something special. Try Glistening Garnet from L’Oreal or Raw Power from Kat Von D.

4. Foiled Eyeshadow

Silver and gold may look beautiful on the runways, but can be a little overkill for the everyday class. Instead, opt for sparkly neutral tones such as Maui Wowie from Urban Decay or Lovely from ColourPop for a touch of shine that doesn’t look like you just landed from outer space.

5. High Ponytails

Ariana Grande has been rocking this style for years, but it’s popularity is just peaking for us normal folks. It’s the perfect style for class because it’s easy and carefree. Plus, you can totally disguise second and third day hair with a slicked back pony. Use hair gel and a tight ponytail holder for a polished look, or curl the ends for a flirtier option.
